Adam Cross is Vice Principal at MPW Birmingham and has many years’ expertise in helping students gain entry onto competitive undergraduate courses, such as dentistry and medicine. He is also the current co-author of Trotman’s Getting into Dental School guide. In addition to his careers guidance expertise, Adam also helps students with pre-admissions tests such as the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT). Adam is a highly regarded teacher of biology and has 20 years’ experience of delivering GCSE and A level courses. Emily Lucas read medical science at the University of Birmingham before obtaining a master’s degree in genomic medicine from Queen Mary, University of London. She currently holds the position of University Support Officer at MPW, and helps students with their university applications, as well as supporting students with pre-admissions tests such as the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT). As well as teaching, Emily is currently undertaking a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Southampton. Emily also teaches biology, and is the current author of Trotman’s Getting into Veterinary School guide, and co-author of the Getting into Dental School guide.
