Her works have been translated into English, Italian, Portuguese, Croatian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese, among other languages. In turn, she has translated more than 200 books into Spanish from other authors, such as the Dr. Seuss series, Curious George, Amelia Bedelia, among others. She has received numerous awards and recognitions in the fields of literature and education- in 2011, she was chosen as one of the 25 most influential women in the Hispanic world by People en espanol magazine. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with her children Ares and Eros.

Tim Foley is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist from Grand Rapids, Michigan. His web comic Mose Goes Walkies appears every day on Instagram, and his most recent graphic novel is the adaption of What Unites Us with Dan Rather. His illustrations have appeared in numerous publications and books for over thirty years, and have included clients like Macmillan, Penguin Young Readers, the Chronicle of Higher Education, the American Bar Association, the Wall Street Journal, and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine.
