About The Author
Alberto Ponticelli
Scott Hoffman is a visionary comic book writer and creator whose work bridges the worlds of music, storytelling, and graphic art. Known to many through his music career as Babydaddy of the multi-platinum band Scissor Sisters, Hoffman brings a unique, genre-bending voice to the comic book medium. A graduate of Bard College and a longtime creative force in both the performing and visual arts, Hoffman made his comic book debut with Wag—a bold and stylishly illustrated narrative that explores identity, perception, and transformation in a surreal urban landscape. His storytelling is deeply cinematic, often blending elements of psychological thrillers, speculative fiction, and noir, all underscored by his background in crafting emotionally resonant narratives through music.
Alberto Ponticelli is an Italian comic book artist known for his bold, expressive style and impactful storytelling. He gained international recognition for his work on Unknown Soldier (Vertigo/DC), and has contributed to major titles such as Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. (DC), Godzilla: Gangsters & Goliaths (IDW), and Zero (Image). A versatile creator, Ponticelli also plays an active role in Italy’s indie comics scene and is a co-founder of La Trama, an art collective in Milan.
