Riichi Ueshiba
Riichi Ueshiba (aka Reach Ueshiba; born 1969) is a veteran comic artist from Fukuoka, Japan. His career began while attending Waseda University in Tokyo in 1990. After his second year, Ueshiba wrote the script for his debut work, Discommunication. He submitted it to Kodansha’s Chiba Tetsuya Contest for New Artists and won the General Award in 1991, securing a contract to work on a series for the publisher. His work, Mysterious Girlfriend X, was adapted into an animated TV series.
