KATHERINE PRIORE GHANNAM is a former public school teacher and the founder of Headstand, an innovative non-profit organization that teaches mindfulness practices, yoga techniques, physical activity, and social and emotional learning as a way of combating “toxic stress” among K-12 students in low-income schools.
