Deborah Lerme Goodman
Deborah Lerme Goodman grew up wanting to be a painter in a Parisian garret, a dream that never materialized but led to other interesting pursuits. She is the author of The Magic of the Unicorn, The Throne of Zeus, and The Trumpet of Terror. In addition to these, she has written another book in the original Choose Your Own Adventure series, two children’s books for the Smithsonian Institution, and numerous magazine articles, primarily focusing on textiles.
Her diverse career includes directing community schools, leading a mayor’s office, studying Chinese and living in China, and ultimately finding her dream job as an English teacher for adult immigrants. Deborah currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband, John.
