Anthony Minghella
Jim Henson was an American puppeteer, animator, cartoonist, actor, filmmaker, composer, and writer. He was best known as the creator of the Muppets, which includ characters like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo. Henson’s innovative work with puppets and his unique brand of humor and heartwarming storytelling touched the lives of millions around the world.
He began his career in television in the late 1950s, and in 1969, “Sesame Street” premiered, featuring many of his Muppet characters. This educational children’s program became a global phenomenon.
