About The Author
Matt Gagnon
Matt Gagnon made history as the youngest Editor-in-Chief amongst major comics publishers when he was promoted to head of editorial at BOOM! in July of 2010. As an Editor, Managing Editor, and ultimately Editor-in-Chief, Matt has spent years overseeing an era of unmatched success and growth at the award-winning company. Matt is originally from Providence, RI. Matt is also the creator of another BOOM! Studios’ series, Freelancers.
Michael Alan Nelson was born in Portage, Indiana and grew up in a small farming community before moving to Los Angeles in 2002. He is the winner of the 2004 New Times 55 Fiction contest for his short-short “The Conspirators” and was awarded the 2011 Glyph Comics Award for Best Female Character for the character Selena from his series “28 Days Later.” Michael is the author of the critically acclaimed comic series “Hexed,” “Dingo,” “Valen: The Outcast,” and “Fall of Cthulhu.” He lives in Los Angeles.
Brian Stelfreeze is an accomplished writer, painter, penciller, inker, and colorist and has worked at nearly every major American comic book publisher over the last three decades. He is best known for his more than 50 breath-taking painted covers for DC Comics’ Shadow of the Bat. Day Men marks his first regular interior comic work since 2005.
