Emmanuelle Guattari, born in 1964, is the daughter of Felix Guattari. She grew up at the La Borde psychiatric clinic in Cour-Cheverny, where her parents worked throughout their careers. I, Little Asylum is her first book and one of two autobiographical accounts of her experiences at La Borde.
