Evan Dorkin
Evan Dorkin is an American comics artist and writer, best known for his comic books Milk and Cheese and Dork. His work frequently satirizes fandom, while simultaneously showcasing his own passion for it.
Beyond his comic book creations, Dorkin has also contributed to animation. Alongside his wife, Sarah Dyer, he co-wrote for Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. He also wrote and produced Bring Me the Head of Boba Fett, an animated television pilot for Adult Swim, and Welcome to Eltingville, based on his original characters.
Dorkin and Dyer also penned episodes for Superman: The Animated Series, notably introducing the character “Live Wire” in the episode of the same name. The couple also contributed to the script of the 2006 English-language adaptation of the anime Shin Chan. Although an initial order of six episodes was successful, their involvement with the series concluded after further episodes were commissioned.
Dorkin has received multiple Eisner Awards, including the award for Best Writer/Artist: Humor in 2002.
