About The Author
Ryan North
Ryan North
Ryan North launched his comics career through self-publishing with Dinosaur Comics, a webcomic that has run for over 2,000 strips, which he describes as “basically the best job ever.” In 2012, BOOM! Studios commissioned him to write their new Adventure Time series, based on the popular cartoon. North’s Marvel debut occurred in 2014 when he wrote the Young Avengers chapters of Original Sins. He achieved Eisner Award-winning success with the series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, propelling an unlikely character to solo title stardom, and also wrote the solo series for Lockjaw in Inhumans: Once and Future Kings. He reimagined Shakespeare with Romeo and/or Juliet: A Chooseable-Path Adventure.
Humberto Ramos
Humberto Ramos made his American comics debut in 1994 with DC’s Impulse, featuring the Flash’s impulsive grandson. In 1998, Ramos launched the creator-owned Crimson under Wildstorm’s Cliffhanger imprint, illustrating the series for over two years. He then moved to Marvel, establishing himself as one of the most recognizable and innovative artists in the industry. Seamlessly blending Eastern and Western artistic styles, Ramos has contributed his talents to many of Marvel’s most iconic characters, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the X-Men, as well as a run on the fan-favorite Runaways. Ramos’s dynamic artwork has been featured in Extraordinary X-Men and Champions, and he collaborated with Skottie Young on the magical series Strange Academy.
