As a doctor, I’m fascinated and sometimes cautious about new technology. What Lara does so beautifully in Hacking Humanity is cut through the hype and show how innovation can be human, hopeful and practical, helping us prevent illness, not just treat it. It’s a book that asks not how long we can live, but how well. Lara Lewington’s Hacking Humanity explores how science and technology might help us care for patients better — not by replacing compassion, but by enhancing it. – Dr Amir Khan
