About The Author
Fatima Whitbread
Fatima Whitbread, MBE, is a world javelin champion, world record holder, and twice Olympic medallist. She gained millions of new fans after her appearance on “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,” where she survived 20 days in the jungle.
Following her athletic career, Fatima, a former BBC Sports Personality of the Year, led the Chafford Hundred elite runners club, which included athletes such as Linford Christie and Dame Kelly Holmes. She also emerged victorious in an all-sport-champions’ edition of “Come Dine with Me.”
Fatima has experience as a school governor, is a qualified javelin coach, and is an accomplished public speaker. She is passionate about contributing to the success of the London Olympics.
She is co-authoring this book with Adrianne Blue, a former correspondent for The Sunday Times and a professional writer. Adrianne is the author of seven books that have been published in 21 languages.
