Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen has never met a mermaid, but she has spent a weekend hanging out with flamingos. She is the author of many books for young readers, including the Mermicorns series, Roxie Loves Adventure, Chicks Rule!, and Chicks Rock! She lives in New Jersey with her family and an adorable pug named Roxie.
Vivien Wu has illustrated several books with Random House and Disney Publishing, including five Little Golden Books. She also creates more artwork populated by purrmaids and feline-folk. She lives in Los Angeles with her cat, Mimi.
