Dr. Catherine Pearlman, founder of The Family Coach, is a licensed clinical social worker with over twenty-five years of experience working with children and families. She holds a Ph.D. in social welfare from Yeshiva University and a master’s of social work from New York University. Dr. Pearlman is also an associate professor of social work at University of Massachusetts Global. She is the author of Ignore It!: How Selectively Looking the Other Way Can Decrease Behavioral Problems and Increase Parenting Satisfaction (TarcherPerigee, 2017).
