A delightful confection you’ll enjoy reaching for whenever a craving for magic, healing, and wonder strikes. But beware - its Invisible Wasanbon, Surrogate Caramels, and Enlightening Candy Apples are addictive … – Samantha Sotto Yambao, bestselling author of Water Moon
Each story within is its own special candy, sweet and delicious! You’ll want to savour each one! – Sarah Beth Durst, New York Times bestselling author of The Spellshop
The Amberglow Candy Store seasons the sweetest and most savoury morsels of human connection with a dash of intrigue that cosy fantasy readers are bound to savour. The obvious care in Matt Treyvaud’s translation puts the cherry on top of this binge-worthy comfort treat! – M. Jean, translator of Messenger Cat Café
Readers will be amply rewarded with the last story, about healing candies, which breaks the mould and prompts reflection on gratitude and purpose. Recommend to readers who want leisurely stories to savour and reflect on * Library Journal *
Gently translated by Japan-domiciled Australian Treyvaud, Kurisu’s charmingly approachable, warmly reassuring novel provides quite the satisfyingly toothsome treat * Booklist *
