Joe Sacco
Joe Sacco is a celebrated cartoonist widely recognized as the pioneer of war reportage comics. His notable works include Palestine, winner of the American Book Award, and Safe Area: Gorazde, which garnered an Eisner Award, was named a New York Times notable book, and was recognized by Time magazine as the best comic book of 2000.
