Traditional chemistry teaching presupposes various obstacles for students to face, such as the difficulty of assimilating the content, memorising symbols, formulas, equations and laws. These barriers need to be overcome through new methodological practices. With this in mind, the aim of this work is to develop and evaluate an alternative experiment on the alcoholic fermentation of fruit, with the aim of combining chemical knowledge with a scientific vision aimed at the industrial sector.
