About the Author

Peter Morgan Jones is Food Ambassador and Executive Chef at HammondCare, where it is his role to inspire and maintain a rich and vibrant food culture. He has a long global career as a successful chef, including with the Royal Family. Rod MacLeod is Palliative Medicine Specialist at Hibiscus Hospice and consultant to HammondCare in Sydney as well as Honorary Professor in Sydney Medical School. He has published over 200 articles on palliative care in national and international journals and over 20 book chapters. He is one of the authors of The Palliative Care Handbook which has become a freely available standard text for health care professionals in New Zealand and more recently New South Wales. He was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen’s birthday honours in 2015. He lives in Auckland. Prudence Ellis is a Senior Speech Pathologist within HammondCare and has co-authored several books, including previous cookbooks Dont give me eggs that bounce and Its all about the food not the fork!, most recently contributed a chapter to the Textbook of Palliative Care. She works with adults in aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation, and her work has been presented nationally.Jessica Lynch is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has been working in rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and palliative care at Greenwich Hospital for the past 13 years.
