Description

The multiple award-winning and bestselling Jon Klassen presents the final tale in his acclaimed and bestselling hat trilogy, giving his deadpan finale a surprising new twist...

Hold on to your hats! From the Kate Greenaway-winning creator of I Want My Hat Back and This Is Not My Hat comes the much-anticipated conclusion to the celebrated hat trilogy.

Two turtles have found a hat. The hat looks good on both of them. But there are two turtles. And there is only one hat... Evoking hilarity and sympathy, the shifting eyes tell the tale in this perfectly paced story in three parts, highlighting Jon Klassen’s visual comedy, deceptive simplicity and deliciously deadpan humour.

Critic Reviews

Another winner from Mr Klassen, King (and quite possibly Emperor) of Subtle Humour. Kids' Book Review
The third in Klassen’s Hat series, We Found a Hat adheres to the simplistic, yet powerful, written and illustrative style of the two previous Hat book. Children, and their ever faithful reading adults, will delight in the text and illustrations of this high art picture book. Creative Kids Tales
I love everything about this book. Otago Daily Times
Best Books for Christmas North and South magazine
The third in a series of books about a hat, I want my hat back (2011) and This is not my hat (2012) this book will be equally well received, its charming style, infectious humour and instantly recognisable themes making it a book kids and adults will pick up to read and share. Read Plus
To me, the maxim “less is best” applies to picture books and Jon Klassen has got it so right. Booksellers NZ

“A different but wholly satisfying and though provoking ending to an outstanding collection of books. Not to be missed.”
