He is a partner in The Law Firm for Truck Safety LLP, in its Columbus, Ohio, office. He has successfully taken numerous cases through jury verdict as lead trial counsel. He also has had successful appellate experience in federal and state courts, including the Supreme Court of Ohio. He has spoken on trucking law topics before the Oklahoma Association for Justice, North Dakota Association for Justice, and the Ohio Association for Justice. Much earlier in his career, he was a construction lawyer, real estate development attorney, Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, railroad attorney in house at Norfolk Southern Railway Company, and a general contractor. He was on the law review at the University of Notre Dame Law School. In his free time, he is a part-time seminary student, and he likes to teach at his church.
