This activity book is a great way to introduce children to the birds in your garden. They will have great fun reading about what makes birds special; finding and ticking off the most common species; colouring in the bird pictures and playing with the stickers on the fold-out garden play scene. AGES: 3 to 8 AUTHORS: Caz Buckingham and Andrea Pinnington spend most of their time outside listening, looking and learning. This book is the culmination of years of wondering, 'What bird made that sound?' They hope to inspire a new generation of bird lovers and solve many family arguments at the same time.
Caz Buckingham trained as an illustrator and graphic designer. She worked for more than 20 years for large corporate publishers before setting up Fine Feather Press with her business partner, Andrea Pinnington. Caz's distinctive designs and illustrations are a combination of artwork and photography that draw children into the world of plants and animals. Andrea Pinnington is the author of numerous children's activity books, including "Animals," "MyBody," and "The Princess Creativity Book." Caz and Andrea take all the photographs for their books. This provides the inspiration for their titles, which are designed to give parents the tools with which to engage their children with nature."
