Alan Snow is a well-known author and illustrator of children’s books and has also worked in many fields of design and animation. He has written two novels, Here Be Monsters! and Worse Things Happen at Sea!, both set in the wonderfully weird world of Ratbridge. He lives in Bath, England. Bill Wallis is a British character actor and comedian who has appeared in numerous radio and television roles, as well as in the theatre. Wallis's most frequent radio appearances have been on BBC Radio 4 for The Afternoon Play and the Classic Serial, but he was also in the cast of the long-running sketch show Week Ending. He has also narrated many children’s books.
